Checkers Vacation Homes

We stayed a week as a couple at this Airbnb, about seven minutes from the popular Grace Bay hub. The room and amenities worked fine for two, and there’s a laundry room on site. They provided beach chairs, towels, and a cooler. The umbrella was there too, but broken. Midweek, someone came by to clean, take out the garbage, and replace the towels. That was unexpected and nice. A few things could’ve been better. The VRBO photos gave us the impression we’d booked the unit shown, but we got a different one without direct pool access, which we’d been looking forward to. Some basic kitchen supplies like salt, pepper, oil, or coffee filters would’ve been a welcome touch. We did appreciate the couple of Tupperware containers. I like fresh air, but the windows had no screens and there were mosquitoes. I kept them closed and used the fan and AC instead, which was disappointing.
