Grace Bay Club

That gorgeous, uncrowded beach is the one thing this hotel has going for it. The rest felt off, and nowhere near worth the cost. Breakfast buffet items were still missing half an hour after service began more than once. The bar looks great, but service was hit and miss: I was told where to sit, waited 15 minutes, then told I couldn’t sit there. The welcome drink was nice, but on arrival we were shown around and told to buy a $100 lunch at a specific restaurant, with no real chance to change the plan. They said we could change it, but our luggage was with staff, so we couldn’t. Service was slow in general. We sometimes waited 5-10 minutes for towels unless we tipped extremely well the first time, and staff seemed to focus only on their regulars. Our thermostat didn’t work either. We had no AC the first night. After asking for a fix, the room was set to 66 degrees and we couldn’t adjust it. When we asked again, they said “the AC works” because the room was cold. It took two more attempts before we had to beg for a new room. I’ve visited more than 70 countries and stayed in all sorts of places. I wouldn’t expect this even at a 2-star hostel in a developing country. Definitely disappointing, despite the beach.

The concierge team was the highlight: friendly, quick to respond, and excellent. We also enjoyed the delicious restaurant and the 24-hour pool. But our four-night October 2025 stay at GBC cost about $2,000 a night, and the service didn’t justify the price. Our spacious, well-designed two-bedroom suite had great ocean views, though there were hairs in the shower and earrings left by previous guests. Breakfast was repeatedly disorganized, with long waits for simple things and too few staff. Beach attendants seemed disengaged, rarely checked on guests, and were often on their phones. Housekeeping didn’t make up the room on the first day, and I was told we had to request it, which was surprising at this price. In the gift shop, an employee tried to upsell me to $750 sunglasses while cheaper options were right behind me. Trash around the property went untouched for days, and I had to ask multiple times to get my $300 resort credit applied. Given better service elsewhere for less, I wouldn’t return.

The personal concierges brought a thoughtful, personal touch that made our trip especially memorable. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of fresh, tasty choices each morning. The grounds and rooms were lovely, and the beach was pristine, peaceful, and picture-perfect. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We had an amazing time at Grace Bay Club and would recommend it for a luxurious Turks and Caicos getaway. We can’t wait to come back.

We spent six nights at Grace Bay Club (GBC) in late October, 2025, and had a lovely time. The resort is expansive and beautifully maintained, with a lovely stretch of beach and the five star Infiniti Restaurant & Raw Bar right on the grounds. Our room was gorgeous and immaculate, and the staff were helpful and attentive. Big thanks to our concierges, Austin and Bruce, and to Jalissa and Sonny at the Grill, where we enjoyed delicious breakfasts every day. I’d happily recommend GBC or another hotel in the Grace Bay Resorts family.
