Pelican Beach Hotel

Our room was just 10 steps from the beach, which felt almost private. At the Barracuda bar right on the beach, we got to try local food delicacies and cocktails. The ownership and staff were all so friendly and helpful during our wonderful vacation at Pelican Beach Hotel. North Caicos is a good choice for a peaceful, relaxing Caribbean getaway away from the crowds, and Pelican is a great place to stay.

We spent five days in July feeling like the only guests at this hotel, right at the end of tourist season. Donna, who owns this family-run historic hotel, and her staff were so gracious and accommodating throughout our stay. Our beachfront unit was just a few feet from the water, with an unbelievable ocean view. The food was primo, the service excellent, and the views to die for. I'm from the Florida panhandle, so I'm used to beautiful white sand and clear blue water, but this hotel far surpasses our beaches. It's wonderfully removed from nearby Provo's busy tourist scene, and the seclusion made for a vacation we couldn't have asked to improve. If you're after the crazy traffic and gazillion tourists of Providenciales (Provo), this romantic hotel isn't for you. But if you want a quaint beach hotel on North Caicos, one of the Caicos Islands, you should check it out. You won't regret it.

For my 30th birthday, my husband and I stayed at this quiet, romantic gem right on a turquoise beach. It really doesn't get better than that. The rooms are simple and very clean, and the staff work hard to make sure you're looked after. It's not a 5-star all-inclusive resort, but it makes a perfect island hideaway for a peaceful, relaxing stay close to nature. We can't wait to return. The food and drinks at Barracuda Beach Bar were amazing too.

The staff were amazing, greeting us with smiles and cool towels. Our comfortable room had a porch with two lounge chairs facing a beautiful beach, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious and served on time. We also had great food and service at the on-site Baracuda Bar. This hotel was exactly what we wanted for our North and Middle Caicos trip. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.
