The hotel felt badly neglected, and we were shocked at check-in when the owner came in to spray the bathroom before handing over the key. Breakfast was poor too, just eggs and bread, with no vegetables, fruit, or anything else.

We had a really nice stay. The place was clean and cheap, with a pool that the kids enjoyed as much as we did. The food and staff were nice, and the decor was beautiful. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Amphawa.

8.5/10 The owners are a lovely family who do their best to help you get around the area, and they keep the property tidy and clean. Ask them about places of interest or transport, they're helpful with both. Our room had a spacious bed and living area, modest furnishings, and a few cute touches. The bed and linens were decent, and the air conditioning was excellent. The washroom was roomy, with complimentary shampoo and soap, a heated shower, and good water pressure. There's a shared seating area, a kitchen suitable for breakfast, and free parking on the property. The pool was a highlight, great for a swim in the morning or at night after a hot afternoon. The property is in a quieter, more remote part of town, between the Maeklong railway and Amphawa floating market. In the morning, you hear exotic birds instead of heavy traffic.

We stayed for one night. The kind, friendly owner shared tips on where to go in town when we checked in, and we had a nice chat over breakfast. It was comfortable, and the swimming pool is huge. We'd definitely come back if we're in town again.
