OYO 664 Nara Hotel Restaurant and Bar

We had to wait another hour before we could move to somewhere else. We'd arrived after midnight, and although our booking was confirmed, they'd given our room to other people. Pawinee at the front desk blamed us for not letting them know we'd be late and was rude and completely lacking in compassion. I tried the contact number, but nobody answered, and I got no reply to my message through the booking app. She even laughed as we left, unhappy. I really hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. There was no accountability or empathy.

In room 301 after checking in on June 9th, 2024, I barely slept. The room wasn't soundproof, and people next door talked loudly until 4 am. I messaged the accommodation and got no reply, so I just had to put up with it. If you're staying here to sleep and leave the next day, don't count on getting any sleep. I hope the accommodation provider takes better care of guests. Teenagers were walking around smoking outside while I was in bed, right beside my room. There's a window in the wall, and the cigarette smell drifted into my room, which made me feel very unsafe. There was hardly any parking either. The room itself was spacious and had a refrigerator and towels. It had no soap or shampoo, but that was fine since I brought my own. There are three bathrooms on each floor, like a hostel.

I paid 800 baht for a large room, but the bathroom was dirty and moldy, and there was no soap or bottled water. It was very noisy because the room wasn't soundproof, and karaoke went on until midnight. I checked in late, and the accommodation was in the same bar as the hotel. For that price, I'd stay somewhere else.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there are restaurants and bars on-site. The service was excellent. A little joke we had: Staff 1: "Your room is on the 3rd floor. You can go ahead. You're wearing a skirt." Staff 2: "They won't notice." My friend and I: "They will notice!" Just kidding! Really great service, and I'd highly recommend staying here. 🙏
