The residential neighborhood is quiet, so there wasn’t traffic noise, and it’s a good spot to try local food. There are also several 7-11 stores nearby. The hotel is tucked a little way in from the main road, but you can get a Grab or Bolt cab there. Our clean, chic room was nice. We’d booked a deluxe room on Agoda for two nights, but had to spend the first night in a standard room because the deluxe wasn’t available. The staff quickly moved us into a deluxe the next day when one opened up.

Even at 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., people were slamming their room doors, and the sound echoed loudly down the corridors. During my three nights, I never got uninterrupted rest. The thin walls didn’t help with people smoking in their rooms, sometimes using illegal substances, or playing loud music and podcasts late into the night. People also drank alcohol in the lobby, and around 10 p.m. I saw one staff member asleep at the counter. The one plus was a laundrette within a five-minute walk. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Changing to a room on the fifth floor didn’t help. It was very hot, poorly ventilated, and the air conditioner didn’t work properly. The first room smelled strongly of urine, and the staff were rude, unwelcoming, and completely unhelpful.

We had everything we needed in a really nice room. The air conditioning cooled it down well, so we slept comfortably even in the heat.
