My stay cost 308.52 USD each night, and this place wasn't worth it. On arrival I was told I couldn't bring guests. An employee walked me to my room with their dog following, then let the dog inside. The safe and A/C didn't work, the bathtub had no plug, and the mirror looked unclean. I had to ask the front desk several times for a plug. Housekeeping didn't clean my room either of the two days, and I had to request service. Later, the employee's dog followed the shuttle into town down to the main road, where we stopped for several minutes to corral it. This was an awful booking through AirBNB, and I strongly recommend avoiding the hotel. My reservation was made at midnight on the day I was heading to Ao Nang, so I expected confirmation might not be instant. Eight hours later I still had no status update. A couple hours after that, at 11 AM local time, I called. The woman said she was busy checking out guests and would call back shortly, but didn't say the room might be unavailable. I boarded the speedboat in Phuket thinking confirmation would come when I arrived. At Nopparat Thara Pier I still had no accommodation information, so I messaged through the AirBNB app and learned the requested room wasn't available. They took 14+ hours to tell me. I was standing on the hot, sweaty pier when I got the news, and for convenience ended up booking a room costing almost twice the original. The lack of communication and services I was entitled to as a guest was bad enough; I also felt they gaslit me about it. Calling this place a resort is embarrassing. Do NOT stay here.

The receptionist's behavior made our stay at Krabi Andamanée Boutique Resort extremely upsetting. One woman at reception was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful, and responded arrogantly instead of addressing our concerns professionally. She took our personal belongings without permission and shouted at us. Basic courtesy and hospitality were missing, and the experience seriously affected our trip. I strongly don't recommend this resort to anyone expecting respectful service and a pleasant stay. Please don't go.

This was my fourth trip to Thailand and my third time in Krabi, but the hotel stay was my most disappointing one. Reception staff often seemed rude and dismissive. On several occasions, I heard the receptionist loudly tell guests, “This is my hotel, not yours,” which felt unpleasant and very unprofessional. I'd urge travelers to think carefully before booking. Many other Krabi hotels offer warmer, more respectful hospitality. I hope management takes guest feedback seriously and improves how visitors are treated.

My wife is vegetarian, and even though we told the resort at the last minute, they made a real effort to bring us more vegetarian choices. Staff kept coming over with different options. The ambience, property, and hosts were amazing, and we had a very pleasant stay. I'd highly recommend it. PS, it's an eco-friendly boutique resort, so please be mindful of your surroundings :D

Su and her sisters run a beautiful traditional Thai hotel, and they were lovely hosts. Nothing felt like too much trouble, from sharing tips on what to do and how to get around to arranging a taxi if we wanted the beach shuttle at a different time, or having one of them drop us off. The free bart bus went to the beach every couple of hours. The hotel was spotless, a great little Thai gem, and about a 10mins walk to the ferry pier in Aao nang. Thank you so much, Su and family xxx
