Js Cafe and Poshtel

We had two lovely rooms facing the street, and you can feel how much love the owner has put into this poshtel. It was a super cozy, comfortable stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful. When we decided to extend our visit, they offered us a very good price. There are lots of different small snacks on the ground floor, free to take. Can only recommend it!

The host was friendly and always smiling. It seemed we were the only guests, but the service was still there. The location is quieter than the other Gates, and Chiang Mai gate night market is an easy 500m walk. There are lots of laundry places and bike rentals in the area. Lovely hostel, definitely recommend it for a Chiang Mai trip.

It was very quiet at night, and the location is good, just inside the old city walls. The private room had decent air conditioning, a small fridge, kettle, and two water bottles replenished each day. Free coffee and tea were provided, along with shower gel and shampoo. The TV only had Thai channels. To get in, you use a key card for the main entrance and a regular key for your room. You may need to call reception when you arrive. Their number is posted outside the entrance and visible from outdoors, which could be tricky if you don't have a Thai number.

The reception lady was amazing, very courteous, helpful, and always smiling. The hostel is quaint, cosy, unique, and centrally located, with a lovely atmosphere and no one bothering you. They offer free coffee, tea, cream crackers, and fruit all day, which was handy if you came back late and wanted a cup of coffee. We stayed three days on the fourth floor. Carrying bags up four floors was a task, and the room got very hot on the top floor, with the A.C. not working that well during the day. I need my tea daily, but there was no kettle in the room, so basic amenities meant going down to the lobby. I’d definitely come back.
