Anna's House

The room felt damp, and the shower didn't drain right. While I was showering, somebody else's vomit came up through the drain. The woman working there was nice, but I wouldn't trust the owner. We asked to leave early three days in advance, and they wouldn't honor their refund policy. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Private Rooms were comfortable, with AC, a private bathroom, and access to a common kitchen. It's a 15 min walk to the main beach. Anna gives off a peaceful energy and makes you feel at home. She helped my boyfriend and me with practical things, and you can get a good price on a tour by booking with her as a guest at the house. She's an exceptional host. I'll definitely be back!

Everything was tidy and clean, and the staff were lovely, helpful, and spoke English really well. Having coffee and tea for free was a nice extra, and being able to arrange trips or rent a scooter right there made things easy. The room barely had space beyond the bed, but the air conditioning was fantastic.

The beach is about a 20-minute walk away, though the hostel itself is in a nice spot. We heard traffic at night, which I think would mainly affect people in the dorm. There was just one shower for men and one for women, so sometimes we had to wait. Also, with no toilet upstairs, going down during the night was a bit of a pain. There’s a small kitchen with a fridge, toaster, and kettle, which was handy.
