Aree Tara Resort

We extended our stay twice, thanks in large part to the woman who greeted us kindly every day, presumably the manager. She was always there for us and did everything she could to make us comfortable. On our last morning, she came over at breakfast to wish us lots of fun. We’ll definitely return when we’re in Thailand again. Tip: ask for a poolside room like room 106. It has lots of privacy, and you can step straight from the bedroom into the pool. The staff were really helpful and friendly!

The hotel’s speedboat trip to the four islands cost a little more than other vendors and was supposed to be better, but it wasn’t well organized. There was a lot of waiting around on the boat without much to do, so I’d consider booking elsewhere. Apart from that, I really liked the hotel. It’s in a great location, with beautiful rooms, very good cleaning, and a super good breakfast. The pool was beautiful too, although it was a bit shady in the morning. Staff were friendly and responded quickly to requests.

I’ll be back next year. This was the best hotel I’ve stayed in in Thailand: quite soft beds, superb cleaning, wonderful staff, and a fantastic breakfast. The pool was great too. It’s in a quiet spot, a few hundred meters from the center of Ao Nang. Chris Highland, Jämtland Sweden.

We loved our six-night stay. The breakfast was generous, the pool was clean, and our room was excellent. The location was handy too, with the beach within walking distance for catching boats or joining tours, and plenty of restaurants nearby.
