There's plenty of street food close by, including little stalls where you can put together a good breakfast for less than a dollar. You may need to cross a busy road to reach them, which can feel stressful if you're not used to Thailand. Since there's a mosque a couple of minutes away in this Muslim area, the call to prayer can be heard at night and early morning. That might bother some people, though I didn't mind. Our host was so smiley and friendly that we started calling him smiley. He helped us find rides around the area and to our next stop for about half what Grab or Bolt would have cost, and even drove us himself. The room was pretty, with yellow walls and nice beds, and had a fridge, sink, and a few cups and dishes.

There are plenty of affordable places to eat nearby, and the beach and night markets are walkable. It took us around 15-20 minutes, and we made the walk at night a few times. The owner even helped us get to the beach while we waited for check-in. My family of five was very happy here, and it was great value. We would have stayed longer if it hadn't been booked out. The place had three large beds and a huge dining and kitchen area.

There’s a pool and air conditioning. The beds were okay, but I wasn't keen on the bathroom.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with lovely bedding and good furnishings. The owner is such a kind, amazing person that you'll want to extend your stay. I hope people give back to him. Take care of Dong-Daeng, the cat who lives there. Thanks for everything, I recommend it 100%.

A good fit for a big family, with lots of space, a dining area, and a huge fridge. 7Eleven is right beside the house, and opposite baan asree there's a nice beef noodle soup restaurant. The owner, Abang Mat, was really friendly and helped guide us around. I'd definitely recommend it to other big families.
