Getting around was a real struggle. The place feels isolated and unsafe, and with so few tuk tuks nearby, each ride cost about $10. We ended up spending $40 USD a day just to reach town or the beach and return. There’s a mosque about 100 meters away, with loud calls to prayer at 4 am. The stay also didn’t match what the website advertised: no shuttle bus, no reception, ants in the room, and the WiFi wasn’t working properly because they’d forgotten to pay the bill. The girl helping us was very nice and understood our situation, but she wasn’t the owner and couldn’t do much. Really bad experience. Check the pictures.

The reception is in a dress shop with limited hours, and we only got one key. There was no shuttle bus, the WiFi was very poor, and ants were in the bedroom. Getting to restaurants, the beach, or downtown was difficult and very expensive. The nearby mosque woke us at 4 or 5 am, and traffic on the noisy road made it hard to sleep in the morning. Terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

A scooter is a good idea for getting to the beach, though it’s fairly close. I slept really well because there was no outside noise, and the private entrance made coming and going early or late easy. There’s a market and a Seven Eleven outside with all the conveniences. A fabulous little place.
