Cha Wan Villa Aonang

We all felt really looked after here, and we'd happily return. Breakfast was included from 7.30 to 10.30, and the private restaurant serves only guests, with amazing food. Our rooms had balconies, air conditioning, mini fridges, and good showers. The pool was lovely and cleaned early every morning. It's about a 10-minute walk to the beach, and once a day there's a free trip to somewhere in Aonang. There’s also a ping pong table, karaoke machine, and movie screen. We had a great time with the other families we were travelling with. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Absolutely awesome, and we'd thoroughly recommend it.

The host was generous and quick to respond, and explained the area when we arrived. We were 12 people, mostly couples, spread across the 8 rooms around a well-kept central pool. There’s also an entertainment room above the dining area. Breakfast was well served and delicious. The host was extremely friendly, which made the stay very pleasant. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to very nice, authentic Thai food and a night market. There were a few issues on arrival. The room had a damp, mouldy smell, though the host said it might be from the freshener they used. The rooms are a bit old, and some bathtub or shower drains were blocked. When we reported this, the host sent the team over and they fixed it within minutes. With some updates to the wear and tear in the rooms, this could be a perfect 5-star stay.

The staff were lovely and helped with tours, scooter hire, airport transfers, and Tuk Tuk drop-offs to the beach. Breakfast is served every day at the private in-villa restaurant. There’s also an entertainment room open 24/7 with karaoke and other games. We visited from Aus and stayed in this huge villa. It works really well for large groups, with plenty of big rooms, each with air conditioning and a private ensuite. The rooms are private but all open onto the shared pool and outdoor areas, so you still get that group atmosphere. Would highly recommend staying here.

The staff made our stay so enjoyable, and the town centre and sea are about a 10-minute walk away. There are lovely restaurants close by too. We came with 13 other family members and made a fantastic memory here. The rooms were spacious, luxurious, and comfortable, and the pool area had a great atmosphere. The restaurant and games room are right beside and above the pool, which made it an enjoyable place to spend time.
