Deevana Plaza Krabi Aonang

Breakfast had lots to choose from, and everything we tried was delicious. We also loved the ground-floor pool running alongside the rooms, it was beautiful and relaxing. Our room at Deewana Plaza Krabi was spacious, clean, and well cared for. Staff were helpful and polite throughout. A very comfortable stay, and I’d recommend it to friends and family. I’d happily come back.

The restaurant food was a real plus, including room service. When our son fell ill, the restaurant staff kindly brought food to our room, and that small gesture meant a lot. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, though the inward-facing view over a shallow pool felt cramped compared with the promotional pictures. Reception staff seemed cold and transactional, and room service wasn’t always available. The resort sits at the end of a road, which felt inconvenient to us rather than secluded in a nice way. Worth considering if food matters most, but keep expectations modest for the hospitality and atmosphere.

The towel dispute at checkout spoiled our stay. We booked for three adults over three nights. There were three towels in the room on the first day. We didn’t use them on day two, so housekeeping didn’t replace them. On the third day, after we’d used them, housekeeping left only two fresh towels. We didn’t raise it then because we hadn’t needed them much. At checkout, staff claimed one was missing and insisted we pay. We explained that the hotel had only provided two after cleaning, that we were three adults, and that we hadn’t taken or misplaced a towel. They argued with us for over 30 minutes, ignored what we said, and deducted the towel charge from our security deposit anyway. It felt unprofessional and showed no accountability for the hotel’s own mistake. Forcing the charge over such a small matter was unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially if you’re paying a security deposit. There are hotels where guests are treated with more respect. Not worth the stress, and I won’t return.

We liked it so much that we extended our stay and would definitely come back. The hotel is new, tasteful, and green. We got a great deal through the hotel's website, with dinner and a massage included, plus discounts on food, drinks, and spa services. It rained a lot, but our little one was happy spending time in the playroom and pool. The restaurant was lovely, and we often ate lunch and dinner there. Reception and the rest of the staff were very welcoming. 💙🌿
