Harvest House

The staff were amazing. There was one woman on reception during the morning and daytime who was so lovely, and I wish I’d got her name so I could mention her properly. I chose the hotel because I wanted some distance from the beach and the busy area, though it was still an easy walk to the beach. The room was nice and very clean. The shower floor was slippery, and the AC could be hard to control at times.

Our room, 303, faced a busy street, so light sleepers might want earplugs. The AC cooled it down within minutes. There was a strong sewage smell in the bathroom, but only when the exhaust fan was on. Once we stopped running it, the smell went away. Housekeeping will clean and replace the water bottles if you hang the right tag on the door; otherwise, they leave the room alone. The reception team were very friendly. In the lobby each morning, there are cookies, water, juice, tea, and instant coffee. The hotel is affordable, with shops and restaurants close by, and street food and souvenirs outside the mosque in the evening. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the beach.

After we reported the smelly room and dirty towels on arrival, the receptionist quickly moved us elsewhere. From then on, the stay was wonderful and trouble-free. We liked the location near the beach, and the AC worked perfectly. The fridge was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed ourselves enough to extend our stay.

Room 303 was spacious and exceptionally clean, with a comfortable bed, and I slept really well despite the busy street outside. Noise could matter if you’re sensitive to it, but it didn’t bother me. The central location also made it easy to get to local sights and places to eat. There was a sewage smell in the bathroom when the fan was running, though the bathroom was otherwise well maintained. A few more towel racks would help with organization. I had an enjoyable, convenient stay and look forward to coming back next time I’m in Krabi.
