The staff were all super sweet, and I can’t blame them for how things went. It felt like the owners were trying to save money at the expense of guests. A hostel would have been better, and I wouldn’t recommend coming here. We’d booked a room in the Ahad suites but were put in the adjacent “hidayah condotel” building. The sewage smell there was unbearable every time we entered, and we couldn’t sleep. There were bugs around the room too. Breakfast was basic, with barely any items; omelettes were cooked to order but then left out for the rest of service. We also had to pay a 1000 baht deposit on arrival. That part was okay, but then the room felt like it came with a charge for everything, even 10-20 baht for an extra roll of toilet paper. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

The hotel arranges island trips at a reasonable price, and there’s a spacious hall for serving food. Rooms have a TV, microwave, and refrigerator, with hot water in the shower. The staff are nice, and the separate swimming pools for women and men were useful. The masjis is about 500 m away, with a 24/7 Family Mart nearby. The 7 Eleven is a little farther. There’s no shared prayer room, though. All in all, it felt like a safe, comfortable place for family trips and Muslim tourists.
