J Hotel

We were three families staying for three nights. The rooms were very spacious, with balconies where we could dry our clothes, and there was hot water all the time. The shower pressure was on the low side, and there isn't a cafe or kitchen. The location was perfect for us, about 3-4 minutes from the beach, long-tail boat service centre, and evening fire show. A Seven-11 grocery store is right opposite.

Really good value for the price. The room was clean, and the rooftop has a view of the beach. The receptionists were very nice, and the location is right by the beach, restaurants, tours, and shops.

Felt completely locked in, and the place seemed like a fire hazard. Maybe J Hotel stands for jail hotel. The worst place ever! The women working there seemed annoyed whenever I asked for anything, and I felt like I was bothering them every time I passed reception. They were constantly putting on makeup.

The staff were nice, and arranging an airport ride through them was cheaper than Grab or Bolt. Just be aware it's shared, so it makes a few stops on the way. We could leave our bags at the desk before check-in and after checkout, and there's a toilet and shower in the lobby to use if you're heading to the airport later. Our twin room was huge, though the balcony was very narrow and had no view. It worked for hanging our swimsuits to dry overnight.
