Kokotel Krabi Oasis

Water was easy to refill from dispensers on every floor, and each room had a bottle too, a thoughtful, eco-friendly touch. The hotel is fairly close to the beach, around a 2 km walk, with transport, shops, and places to eat nearby. Rooms were reasonably spacious and well kept, with comfortable beds and expected basic amenities. Housekeeping kept things tidy, and reception staff were polite and helped arrange pickup and drop-off. It’s a simple, practical place without extra luxury, and beach towels are available. The washrooms felt dated, especially the doors and fittings, and could use renovation. Breakfast was offered, but looked basic, so I didn’t try it. I had a pleasant stay and found it a decent short-stay option for comfort and value, especially if you’re on a budget.

The food was so good, honestly better than the big, fancy restaurants down the street. My room was modern and spotless, with a large 50" smart TV and fast, reliable Wi-Fi, so streaming Netflix felt just like at home. The hotel itself was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. There’s a clean lap pool downstairs, plus a free shuttle to the beach a few minutes away. The beach was clean and pleasantly uncrowded. You can book a shuttle spot ahead of time in the registration book by the front desk, and they provide large beach towels for free.

For over USD 200 a night for four people, this room was a disappointment. It feels more like a hostel than a hotel, and the photos show the condition. The bathroom is tiny, with no door or shower curtain, so water gets all over the floor when you shower. The towels were torn, the bin was broken and had to be opened by hand, and the shower head was broken too. Although we booked for four, toiletries like shower caps and toothbrushes were supplied for just one person. The toilet area is badly laid out and extremely cramped. One leg has to face the wall, even if you’re short, as the photos show. It was so uncomfortable that I used the lobby toilet instead.

We loved our stay. The staff were welcoming and said hello every time they saw us, no matter how often. Our room was clean and problem-free, and the lobby coffee was great. The nearest 7eleven is 600m away, which was super convenient.
