Let's Sea Hostel

I’ve had few stays in Thailand as good as this one. The atmosphere was cool, the rooms comfortable and clean, and the staff were some of the friendliest I’ve seen. There’s a shared open kitchen and shared bathrooms. The bathrooms were cleaned daily, and with several of them, I never had to wait. Laundry is free too, with a washing machine and dryer, or clothing racks if you’d rather hang things up. If shared bathrooms are okay with you, this is definitely worth staying at in Ao Nang. I’ll come back if I’m in the area again.

It’s a comfortable place to sleep if, like me, you’re out all day. You get what you pay for, and it isn’t the most esthetic place, but it works well as a basic alternative. The Ao Brach is a 25min walk, and that’s my only con. The place is extremely clean, with the host cleaning many times a day, and they’re very kind. They let you wash clothes for free and provide free water bottles too.

For a budget stay, the rooms are good and the facilities are clean and well maintained. The owners are very kind and polite. You’ll find a 7-Eleven, food shops and lots of Indian restaurants nearby, and Ao Nang Beach is 1.5 km away, an easy walk. There’s also a taxi to Krabi International Airport for 150 THB per person, and transport to the Krabi bus terminal costs 60 THB per person.

For the price, this was a very good 3 night stay at Let’s Sea Hostel. The owner was friendly, kind and always ready to answer questions or share useful tips about food and local places. That made the hostel feel welcoming. It’s about a 15 minute walk from Ao Nang Beach, though there are several nice restaurants and food options nearby. The amenities are simple and nothing fancy, but that’s what you’d expect at this price. It was clean and comfortable, and good value if you want an affordable, friendly place in Ao Nang.
