We were a bit wary after reading the reviews once we’d booked, but the staff turned out to be absolutely lovely, helpful and amazing. The room was very clean and smelled nice, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. A lovely hotel all around.

We had a really pleasant stay. Mo at reception was so friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a warm smile. The atmosphere was comfortable, and having a café on-site was handy.

The staff were very friendly, but the room was in bad shape. My partner and I were so shocked by the toilet seat that I forgot to take a photo of the bed. Surely replacing it with a new one can’t cost that much? The bed was painfully hard and left my back aching, while the pillows were so uncomfortable our chins were almost against our chests. We ended up sleeping without pillows on that hard bed. Booking this last-minute hotel was the worst mistake we’ve made so far. I don’t recommend sleeping here.

We stayed three nights, and on the last two, there was no water in the bathroom around 11 pm. The hotel wasn’t staffed at night; when I called, the woman said there was nothing she could do and told me to use the lobby washroom, but that had no water either. It was incredibly frustrating. The AC remote didn’t work, and nobody seemed interested when I asked for help, so we couldn’t adjust the temperature. The sheets were stained, and even after room service they seemed to leave the same sheets and blankets. When I asked reception where the fresh ones were, they seemed clueless and just said, “I don’t know; sorry.” For what we paid, I felt the value was low. Room service also wasn’t offered unless you asked.
