Nemo 2 Resort

We arrived from Phi Phi Don on 24 November and checked in as planned. The next day, we checked out around 11:00 AM, leaving our bags at reception while we waited for a bus to Bangkok that we had booked through the resort, with pickup expected between 3:00 and 4:00 PM. Heavy rain brought us back around 2:00 PM. We used the resort washroom one at a time, paying 20 THB per person as staff had told us to, then left as soon as the van arrived. After reaching Bangkok and checking into our hotel, we discovered that 200 USD was missing from one colleague’s bag and a gold chain from the inner compartment of another colleague’s bag. Both were in zipped, hidden luggage sections. This raised serious concern about unauthorized access. We had no similar problem at any other hotel during our 12-day trip in Thailand. All the resort staff were women, which seems relevant to us because the hidden compartments would be very hard for an outsider to guess without handling the bags directly. We contacted the resort right away, but communication was difficult because staff couldn’t understand English. We also sent messages translated into Thai, but the resort denied responsibility. We reported it to Bangkok Tourist Police before returning home. They told us that only Krabi Police could investigate because the incident happened in Krabi, and Bangkok Police could not act. Since we booked through Agoda, they advised contacting Agoda for help and escalation. We’ve attached screenshots, communication records, and other supporting evidence for review.
