OYO 1046 Noppharat resort

The free shuttle into ao nang was great, and the staff were friendly with good service. My room was clean and spacious, with a really cool bathroom, and the pool was nice for a quick dip. Check the tide times at Noppharat Beach, though. There's only a beach at low tide.

I've stayed here several times and would come back. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and there's a nice little pool. Breakfast wasn't great, with no bacon or sausages because it's a Muslim place, and they don't sell alcohol on site. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the main road. It used to run a free shuttle to Ao Nang about every half hour, but now there's a small charge. You can book day trips at the hotel, rent mopeds at reception for 200thb a day, and get washing done for 45thb a kilo.

The houses are neat, well kept, and look good, and the pool is the cleanest I've seen at a well-priced place. The staff are really friendly, helpful, and interested. I missed having a ceiling hook for a mosquito net, something I find odd not to have in thailand. Food is standard, okay but nothing special, and costs more than at a regular thai restaurant. Just take the free shuttle and eat out.

The hotel is good value, clean, and nicely located for walking to Ao Nang beach and plenty of restaurants, including halal food. The staff were friendly, and Ms May at reception was especially helpful. I liked it enough to recommend it to friends.
