Phi Phi View Point Resort

Nice resort in a good location, with friendly staff and affordable prices. Noise from the nearby night bars might annoy some people.

I arrived to check in with a confirmed booking, only to be told my room had been given to someone else because the hotel wasn’t sure I’d show up. After travelling all the way to Phi Phi, I was left without a room. When I asked what had happened and how they’d fix it, the staff weren’t helpful and things escalated for no good reason. Overbooking can happen, but the way it’s handled says a lot, and this was stressful, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel based on how guests are treated when something goes wrong.

It’s a dated, budget place, but the balcony has a great view and the price is good.

This was the worst stay of our whole Thailand trip. We booked at the last minute, and the guide took us here, so of course it was overpriced. The toilet flush was broken and unusable in the morning, though they fixed it later. The next morning, the room was full of biting ants. The hotel said they’d spray, but when we came back that night, the ants were still everywhere. We couldn’t stay, and the reception staff were nowhere to be found, apparently done for the night, so we had to leave. The next day, when we complained and asked for a refund, they blamed us, saying we’d left food and that caused the ants. When we said we’d leave bad reviews, they told us to go ahead because nobody reads Google reviews and their business would keep going.
