TAN Hostel x Cafe - Adults Only

The patio is open and airy, with lots of plants, and there are even floor cushions if that's your kind of thing. The service was great and accommodating, too. We made this our regular breakfast café during our three-week rental stay, since it opens at 7:30am, earlier than many nearby places. As a fully vegan eater, I found several balanced choices and ordered them over and over. My favorites were the Buddha Brunch Bowl, which was very fresh and well cooked though could use a sauce, Vegan Taco, and Mushroom Avocado Toast. I added hot sauce and dipped the potatoes in ketchup. Their espresso drinks are excellent. I usually got a hot oat milk latte in a larger mug, while my partner chose either a coconut americano, espresso with coconut water, or Shade of Tan. I recommend it!

Tan Cafe is the place I liked best for breakfast in Krabi. The food was healthy, with very fresh ingredients, and the cafe has a modern interior. Service and serving were super fast. One friendly heads-up, the portions are huge. We each ordered two dishes and couldn't finish them, so one portion per person is probably enough. It is expensive compared with other places in Krabi, but the cafe is wonderful for breakfast and brunch.

The restaurant is an easy 10/10 for me, though I can't speak to the hostel. It can get packed around 09:30 even in low season, which says a lot about the quality. Service is quick, the staff speak English, and it's a good spot to sit and get some work done. This is my favorite place in Ao Nang for an early breakfast, coffee, or matcha. The cozy atmosphere, solid breakfast and brunch menu, and arabica beans from Chiang Rai all work for me. You get a lot for the price. Don't think twice, just go ;)

We didn't stay at the hotel, just visited the café at TAN Hostel x Cafe. The blue smoothie bowl was delicious, and there's a great range of healthy, tasty dishes. The café's design is lovely and the atmosphere is relaxing. Highly recommended! 😊🥣☕️
