The Britannia Chiang Mai

The rooms may be a bit small, but the price is hard to beat, and I’d rather be out seeing the city anyway. The balconies at the front are nice for people watching. It’s easy to reach, with good restaurants, temples, markets, and other fun things nearby. The couple running the place are extremely friendly. Everything is clean and well kept. Street noise can come through a little, but it quiets down after 8pm.

The rooms were clean and the bed was amazing. It’s a beautiful place, close to everything, and my stay was pretty quiet. The owners are so friendly and happy to help make things comfortable. I’m really glad my girlfriend and I found it.

Everything you need is nearby, and the location puts you right amid all the beauty. The corner itself is super quiet. The rooms are neat and clean, and the woman who runs this guest house is very kind and ready to help with whatever you need. Great place!

Compared with another nearby hotel at the same price, the difference was huge. I booked online and called to ask about leaving my bag early, and when I arrived the room was already ready ahead of time. Mine was a basic but clean, well-kept fan room on the top floor at the back, overlooking an empty plot, so it was quiet. The owner Ow and the maid were both very helpful. They even let me borrow the book I’d started but hadn’t finished. I can’t recommend this place enough.
