The coziest part is the roomy hangout area, both indoors and outside. Breakfast is basic, with toast, jam, honey, banana, milk, and cornflakes, and there’s a microwave, toaster, plus a fridge and freezer for food you buy. Staff are super friendly and helpful, even though they don’t speak much English. The first night I was in a room with six regular beds and curtains that didn’t fully enclose them, so I felt exposed and uncomfortable. The next night I got a regular bunk with big curtains, and the other room should have those too, with curtains all the way around each bed. The bathrooms could be cleaner. The hostel is small, so cleanliness should be easy to keep on top of, but the bathrooms weren’t. Bikes are 60B a day; they were okay, though could be in better shape. It feels like home.

If you’re traveling with a bicycle, I wouldn’t stay here. They ask you to leave it outside and won’t take responsibility if it’s stolen.

It’s a shame, since otherwise it’s a good hostel, but my room was infested with bedbugs. I switched rooms without knowing the new one had them too.

The ground floor gets pretty hot and there are lots of mosquitoes, and the area is really boring at night. Still, this place suits budget backpackers who like nature and a quiet setting. It feels like staying in someone’s home rather than a guesthouse. The two owners, an older mother and daughter, can’t speak English, but they’re friendly and funny and make it feel like they’re sharing their house with you. It’s clean and tidy. You can do an easy route of about 3 km one way to Wat Maha That, Wat Ratcha Burana, Wat Phra Ram, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, and more.

There are several big common areas, though the outdoor ones have lots of mosquitoes. The location is alright, on a residential street with a few restaurants and a 7/11 nearby, and the lovely night market is about a 10-minute walk away. The family who run it are wonderful and helpful. One of them speaks English and is easy to reach by phone. Breakfast is included and simple, just coffee, toast, and bananas. The bed was comfy, the AC was good, and the wifi worked well. Great hostel, I’d definitely stay again.
