Green Riverside Homestay

The road nearby can get busy and noisy, but at night it was fine. I'd stay here again: it's central to everything you need, with a table and chairs outside, ample parking, and a communal kettle with free coffee at reception. There's a Lotus and a 7 eleven two minutes away, food vendors around there, and a restaurant across the road. My room was quirky and homely, with a good bed, cool air conditioning, a big shower room, and a great night's sleep.

Set beside a picturesque canal, this charming homestay feels welcoming and comfortable, with amenities that make it feel like home. I especially liked the living room and its lovely canal view. Self check-in was both convenient and a fun feature. For accommodation this affordable, I'd give it six stars if I could.

The house is cute and full of character, and the beds are very comfortable. It gets extremely hot during the day, but that was manageable. The construction noise was not. Renovations were happening right outside the bedroom windows, starting at 8am even on Saturday and carrying on all day. This was advertised as a peaceful, quiet stay, but it was anything but, and it felt more like torture than a chance to rest. The host never warned us, apologized, or offered a discount. I feel scammed, and the lack of consideration for guests' peace and comfort left me feeling that I would never return or recommend the place. All they needed to do was tell us ahead of time so we could prepare ourselves, and we would've been okay. Instead, they chose to scam us.

We stayed two nights, on July 29 and 30. The room was oversized and the bed comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Great location, highly recommended.
