The place is calm and beautiful, and the downstairs bar is a nice spot to unwind. Our room was simple but clean and comfortable, and the varied breakfast was really good. You can borrow English books and snorkel masks, rent scooters, or ask for beach towels for the lovely beaches nearby. The staff were consistently kind and caring, and we were very happy with the service.

A peaceful spot to get away from everything and enjoy nature and a sky full of stars. The bungalows are small, and breakfast is a simple Thai buffet with a few Western choices. One night I had a huge plate of spaghetti and garlic bread from the little kitchen. Everything was fine, with no problems.

I went home with a favorite place on Koh Kut and would happily return. Kinnaree is a quiet, beautiful, private coastal stay surrounded by nature. Keep in mind it’s a two-star resort, but the family-run atmosphere is lovely. The bungalows are arranged so you can greet the neighbors while still having your own space. Mine felt safe, with a comfortable bed, one soft and one firm pillow, working air-conditioning, a fridge, clothes rack, spare hangers and drinking water. The bathroom was clean and functional. Rooms are a little dated, but comfy, and staff cleaned mine when I asked. The team were brilliant. The woman at reception was incredibly helpful, and the cleaners were lovely. Ask at reception if you need anything. Motorbike rental is easy and a good idea, since Koh Kut is a pleasure to explore and there’s lots to see. The resort is near plenty of restaurants, coffee places and beaches. The road on the way in isn’t paved, but going slowly makes it easy. From the bungalow or the rocks beside the sea, the view is lovely, and the sunset is gorgeous. There’s a nice balcony where you can dry clothes and sit watching the world go by. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with coffee available all the time. The Wi-Fi was okay, but I didn’t come all this way to sit on my phone. I couldn’t swim while I was there, though other guests said the swimming was great. Masks and snorkels are available at reception, and local dive boats stop daily at the little island next to the resort. I’ll have to try that next time. A few practical details: the moth and mosquito repellent tablets in the rooms smell strongly of chemicals, like mothballs. You can ask to have them removed and buy air freshener at local shops. There are no small lamps in the rooms, but you can ask reception for one. Ask for a cushion if the outside chair doesn’t have one. Cleaning is on request, not automatic. I’d also get mosquito coils for the balcony, especially after rain. Local shops and supermarkets have them.

We stayed for a week in January 2025 and came back for the start of the new season. It’s peaceful, right beside the sea, and very reasonably priced. The staff are really friendly, the food is delicious, and the restaurant views are gorgeous. We’re so happy to be here again and would definitely recommend it 🙏
