High Season Pool Villa & Spa

This was our favorite hotel of the places we stayed on our honeymoon. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The staff were consistently kind, remembered our room number, and made an effort to connect with us. Our beachfront deluxe suite felt like having our own beach house. The water was usually warm and calm, and we could walk along the sand for ages. It was great for kayaking. We snorkeled a little, though there weren’t many different fish to see; the water was so clear that it was still lovely to look at. We had a private pool, bathtub, and kitchen, and could lie in the room looking at the stars or eat dinner at our private “tree house” in front of the sunset. I also had a Thai massage, the best one I’ve ever had. It started with ginger tea, a towel, and a foot massage, followed by an hour of Thai massage, then tea and a cookie. The staff went out of their way to smile and help with whatever we needed. A wonderful finish to our honeymoon. 🤍 One thing to keep in mind is the shuttle. For what it costs, it didn’t feel like a very good way to get around, but we accepted it because we thought it was the only option besides renting a motorcycle.

We had such a memorable honeymoon, thanks in part to the excellent food and the team’s warm, friendly welcome. Nutty deserves a special thank you for always being available and helping with every request.

My wife and I spent five nights at High Season for our honeymoon and couldn’t have been happier. The grounds were beautifully maintained, especially around the beach, and our villa was amazing, with its own pool, a large sitting area, bedroom, bathroom, and another outdoor space at the back. The staff were always friendly and attentive, checking if we needed anything. Breakfast was included each day, with a huge and delicious buffet. On our last night, we had the set romantic dinner right beside the ocean. The hotel also arranged a free shuttle from Ao Salat pier when our shuttle arrived. We’d definitely choose High Season again if we return to Koh Kood.

The sunsets and breakfast were incredible, and the staff were lovely. The rooms are great, but I’d skip paying for a room with a pool. Ours was small and we didn’t use it, while the hotel’s beach and pool area were better. One of the best high-end resorts I’ve stayed at. I’ll be back!
