T-Boutique Hostel

I warmed to this tiny, cozy hostel, especially after seeing other neighborhoods. Just be clear that it’s a hostel with private rooms and shared showers, not a full hotel. The rooms and showers are small and set up in a Thai style, but they’re cute, cozy, and clean if you aren’t expecting a western-style room or full hotel. The design is charming and authentic. AC, Wi-Fi, reading lights, shower, and warm water all worked well. The twin beds were small but comfortable. Shoes aren’t allowed upstairs, and you can use the drinking water and fridge. At 800Bh per person, it felt worth the price. The staff were the hidden gem: considerate and intellectual, with good conversation and great local art recommendations. Traveling alone abroad, I felt at home. Downstairs, the coffee shop is a must try. I had a dark roast Americano, and they even had soy milk. It’s a nice spot for morning reading or light work, with sweet breakfast buns and cats too. The area is quiet, without BKK noise or bustle, and I felt safe even at 2am. It’s about a 20-minute walk to most art and tourist areas, and right next to the train station and a 7-11.
