The Wi-Fi was the big problem during my nearly month-long stay. It kept dropping or stopped working, so digital nomads should look elsewhere. The place was otherwise fine, with pleasant staff and clean rooms that were regularly cleaned. There isn’t much natural light beyond the small cut-out balcony, and the shower water only gets pretty warm, never really hot.

The room itself was good, but the Wi-Fi was very slow and disconnected a lot. They couldn’t provide a safe locker for my valuables, so I ended up leaving my things in the room and hoping they’d be safe.

The staff were friendly, and check-in wasn’t too strict, though checking out took a while. The place was clean and I didn’t see any bugs. A tiny balcony, and the power goes off when you take the key out. There’s a laundry next door, and you can get coins at the claw machine. If you put ice in, it records.

Seven Ratchasa Hotel is an affordable, comfortable spot near Huai Khwang. Rooms start at 899 THB/night depending on promos, and I thought the place was better than expected for that price. The soft bed felt 5-star quality, and the clean room had a sofa and a wet and dry bathroom. There’s YouTube, Netflix, a hairdryer and toothbrush set, plus a clean elevator. It felt safe and modern, with no ghost stories. The hotel sits in a small alley with several ways in and out. It’s handy for Huai Khwang Market, a short walk from MRT Huai Khwang station, and near the famous Ganesh Shrine. Check-in is available 24 hours, and the staff are welcoming. Street food is available around the clock, with massage shops, beauty salons and trendy clothes stores nearby. A good fit for night owls and food lovers.

The rooms are clean, modern and new, with comfortable pillows and a hot shower. The staff were kind, and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
