Krinnatra Villa

My room was clean and roomy, with a large shower that had what I needed. But I haven't seen anyone at reception since checking in, and they didn't replace the toilet paper. I'm concerned about a possible attempt to steal from my belongings. When I came back, things in my backpack had been moved, including one item I always keep in a particular pocket. Be careful with your things. Locking the door didn't prevent the cleaning staff from entering to clean.

The location was convenient, and we were lucky to get one of the limited parking spots, about seven in all, four out front and three behind. Still, I might not come back if I had another option. The floor felt dusty, and I found a small spider and another little insect. After two nights, I had a red, itchy rash. The Wi-Fi was slow and kept cutting out. It wasn't a terrible stay, but the room could have been cleaner.

Breakfast was downstairs, with tables indoors and outside. The outdoor seating had a Mediterranean feel. They served the usual choke, plus bread and a toaster. In our room there was a fridge, a kettle, and a small balcony. The internet wasn't especially fast, but it worked for our weekly Zoom meeting with people back in North America. We booked through Agoda and rang the bell when we arrived. A man came out, wasn't sure how to handle a foreign guest, and brought someone else over. She checked us in wearing her dental clinic clothes. The hotel and dentist's office belong to the same person, with just a door between them. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. There was a fruity smell I recognized but couldn't place at first. Later I wondered if it came from the laundry detergent. It had the same scent as grape lollipops I used to suck on as a kid.

We had a suite, which was very spacious and had a little balcony. The bed was really comfortable, and the whole place was clean. Breakfast was good too. We’d stay here again next time we’re in Ban Bueng, and I recommend it.
