We found this a surprisingly good place near Kamchanod. The entrance alley didn't look like it led to accommodation, and the house is in the same compound as the owners' home, so I was a bit unsure at first. Once we checked in, those worries went away. It costs just over 1,000 baht and can sleep up to 6 people. Although it's on the owners' property, the zones are clearly separated and the house feels private. The dormitory-style bedrooms work well for chatting and sleeping together, and there's a swimming pool, pool table, and microwave. The owners are a very kind Thai-foreign couple, easy to contact and happy to help. They even switched on the air conditioning before we arrived. It's convenient for visiting Kamchanod, and if I return to the area, I'd stay here again. Highly recommended.
