The terrace made our last night on Koh Lanta feel special, with sunset light fading across the view and sunrise waiting in the morning. At Deep House Sea View, we fell asleep to the waves and woke to the sounds of nature. It was so peaceful that we were genuinely disappointed our flight change meant we could only stay one night. The room is simple and very clean, with the essentials we needed and no extra fuss. Sareena was quick to reply and easy to communicate with. She arranged motorbikes and helped sort out our transfer to Phuket Airport, so everything went smoothly. We’d happily come back and stay longer next time.

Staying over the water was a really different experience, and the gentle sound below was so calming. From the balcony at sunrise, we could watch the mangroves wake up, with collared kingfishers, brahminy kites, egrets and mudskippers nearby. Sareena was very helpful and booked an early transfer for us to Krabi airport. Her restaurant in town, Sunee Place, is also worth a visit. We loved the roti and curry, with its fusion Indian food. A brilliant place near Koh Lanta old town.

Sleeping to the waves and feeling the tide come in at night was lovely. It’s a rustic place, and the owner is a really friendly woman who communicates well. A great spot to experience old town life.

The bed was really comfortable, and the small touches made the stay feel special. The whole place was wow, and the host was very accommodating. It’s a unique experience. The area is quite remote, so I wouldn’t suggest staying here if you can’t ride a motorcycle. The host can help arrange taxis, though.

Old Town is only a short walk away, with plenty of shops and restaurants, and prices there seemed a bit lower than on the other side of the island. We found this to be amazing value for both the room and service. We were very comfortable during our four nights. The space was clean and peaceful, and surprisingly free of insects for somewhere that’s mostly outdoors. Sareena was friendly and took care of whatever we needed, from laundry and bike rental to setting up tours.
