We could properly switch off here, even though the resort is remote. Everything was well organised, and there was plenty to do, from kayaking and wildlife spotting to boat tours. The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff were friendly and always ready to help. Our floating villa was clean and comfortable, with incredible views right outside. Sunrise over the mountains and the still lake was a trip highlight. Set among limestone cliffs and clear water in Khao Sok National Park, 500 Rai Floating Resort is breathtaking. I’d highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway amid Thailand’s spectacular scenery.

Getting everyone away from the phones and back to nature and family was what we loved most. It really felt like a hidden paradise, and we already miss waking up to the calm lake and misty mountains. The kids had a great time kayaking and watching wildlife in the morning, while we enjoyed the mountain views from our room. The atmosphere was peaceful, the meals had delicious authentic Thai flavors, and all the staff were kind and welcoming. 500Rai Floating Resort was a wonderful place for our family to spend time together away from busy city life. Highly recommended for families after a meaningful, different kind of getaway.

Our children spent hours swimming and kayaking while we took in the quiet and the mountain views. The staff were genuinely kind and especially helpful with the kids, and we enjoyed the food, which had a good mix of Thai and Western dishes. We went to 500 Rai as a family with two children, and it became one of the most memorable parts of our Thailand trip. Even the boat ride there felt special. Arriving at the floating resort with the lake and mountains all around was breathtaking. If you want a relaxing nature stay away from crowded tourist spots, this place is perfect.

We especially loved the lake at sunrise and sunset. The views from the floating villas were incredible at every time of day, and the food was delicious with more variety than we expected in such a remote spot. It felt far removed from the busy world as soon as we arrived. The staff were warm and attentive without making things formal, which suited the calm atmosphere. The villas were comfortable, and the whole place feels very different from an ordinary hotel in Thailand. I’d recommend booking at least two nights. One night just isn’t enough to take it all in.

The quiet was exactly what I needed. No traffic or crowds, just nature sounds throughout the day, and a beautiful sunrise from my floating room each morning. Surrounded by rainforest, mountains and the lake, 500Rai felt calm and healing. The morning lake sightseeing and kayaking were especially good. The staff made me feel welcome from start to finish. It’s more than a hotel stay, it gives you room to slow down, relax and reconnect with yourself and nature.
