The staff were friendly and spoke English, and breakfast had a decent range of choices. For the price, the hotel felt well worth it. My room was spacious and clean, and the place was quiet and well kept. They accommodated my very late check-in at 2 am and even helped me get change for the airport taxi driver. The mattress was extremely firm, with no give, and my back hurt after the long flight. I also got locked out three times because of trouble with the key card, but staff helped each time, so it was only a small hassle.

It cost less than $30 US, and the room was clean with an Asian breakfast included. The staff were kind and accommodating, though their English wasn’t strong. Fortunately, I speak Thai. The place is near the airport, down a soi (alley) off the main road. From the airport, ask for a “short distance taxi”; mine was 150B. It wasn’t seedy, dirty, or bad!

The ride from the hotel to King Power took 6 minutes by motorbike service and cost 40 Baht, which seemed fair. My room was tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I stayed for one night so I could get to the airport easily, and it worked well for that. The rooms were comfortable and good for the low price. Not everyone on staff speaks English, and there aren’t malls, markets, or restaurants nearby.
