I’ve stayed here twice now and would gladly come back. The views and location are a big part of the appeal. M., a gentleman on the staff, was very friendly, listened to what we asked for, and made us a wonderful breakfast. The rooms are a little old and basic, but they were clean and comfortable. Thanks to all the staff.

The room is simple, but it was so quiet at night that I slept really well, and the bed was very good too. Breakfast by the river was a highlight, with freshly baked pastries and croissants, good organic vegetables from the farm, and food without MSG. It was probably my best breakfast in Amphawa so far. Don’t expect much from the buffet presentation, but there’s plenty to eat and the quality is good. Cheap, clean, and comfortable.

Getting there is tricky without your own car. You may need to hire a car or taxi from Bangkok, though the hotel can arrange local transport if you want to explore the area. We really liked the peaceful setting and the lovely staff. The riverside restaurant is a great place to sit back with a meal, including vegetarian options, and enjoy the river view. We’ll stay there again.

It’s a cozy, uncrowded resort right by the river. The restaurant serves tasty food at reasonable prices, with a nice view, and staff can arrange a boat trip to Amphawa market or to see the cicadas at night. Our room was fairly clean, though cleanliness seemed to vary by room type.
