At Phranakorn Inn

For 300-400 baht a night, this seems like a decent Bangkok deal if you can overlook the scruffy corridors, doors, and windows. The room was fairly large, with working air conditioning, fresh white sheets and towels, a private bathroom with a water heater, basic furniture, and a couple of 3-in-1 coffee sachets. The renovation looks cheaply done, and some pipes leaked here and there. The contactless check-in wasn’t working properly when we arrived. We spent ages opening links and uploading documents at the front door, only to find it still didn’t work. A maid noticed us and checked us in by hand.
