The resort is pleasant overall, but it’s rather out of the way and far from popular attractions. My room was small but clean and not very convenient. I visited in the off-season, and it hadn’t been properly prepared, with no bottled water among the missing basics. The mattress was quite hard, the blanket thin, and several things were broken. The air conditioner couldn’t be adjusted.

A friendly, affordable place to stop before a longer trip, perhaps down to the South of Thailand. It’s a cosy, quiet resort on the outskirts of Samut Songkhram, with very clean rooms and a lovely all-wood design. The staff were friendly too.

It’s away from everything, but relaxed and accommodating. We’re here in low season, and I’m sure the hotel has more to offer during peak season.

The owner kindly arranged a taxi for us back to Bangkok. The khao dtom talay was aroi mak mak! We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the nice location, wandering through coconut and pomelo plantations on the longer route to Amphawa.

A lovely place with lots of greenery and nice wooden cabins. Everything was clean and well looked after, with plenty of privacy.
