Muffin

Great hotel, great price.

It's a good-priced place, but it isn't a hotel and doesn't have hotel facilities. I'm here for six nights in a family suite. The room is fairly spacious, but the beds are hard, the sheets are old and poor quality, and the double bed is so small it can't fit two kids. There are no proper bathroom amenities, just one soap for body wash and a shampoo bottle. There's also a bad smell, maybe from the floor or furniture. Some staff service has been poor, and they can't communicate in English. The Wi-Fi is the worst part: the speed is terrible and the connection drops repeatedly. I won't come back.

The room itself was nice and comfortable, but the check-in experience put me off booking the ten nights I had planned. I arrived late on the 11th, and a security guard handled check-in. When I asked where to go, he asked what date I'd booked. I said the 11th and showed my Agoda booking number. He looked at it, asked if that was all the information I had, then clicked his tongue and said there had to be more. He asked what room and bed I'd booked. I said I wasn't sure, and that twin or single beds were both fine. In a rude tone and with an unpleasant look, he asked whether I didn't know how I'd booked. Once I got the room, I asked if this was the building. He said there was only one building. I explained I'd never been there before. Eventually he called the admin and found my room. If he couldn't locate my booking number, he should have called to confirm at the start instead of interrogating me. He shouldn't have treated me that way.

For the price, this is very good value. The staff were polite and helpful, and there's covered parking. A 7-Eleven and restaurants are nearby, so it's easy to order food to eat in your room, and getting around is convenient. The room has a condo-like feel, with plenty of space, full furnishings and amenities, clean bedding, bright lighting, and pleasantly cool air conditioning.
