Patpong Night Market is directly across the road, with street food just steps away, so expect a lively area. Motorbikes and TukTuks are noisy at night, and earplugs helped me sleep. The location is handy for the SkyWalk, trains to Bangkok's temples, and Terminal 21 Asok. For the price, the hotel is good value and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was reasonably clean, though there was some mold and the shower needed re-caulking. They supply Q-tips, toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner. Bring your own towels and slippers, as theirs were very worn. Hot water comes from an instant heater and can fluctuate, and the sink has no hot water. The AC also isn't very strong, so I sometimes left it running for a few hours before coming back to a cool room.

The day-shift woman at the desk was the one bright spot, very polite, friendly, and welcoming. The rest of the stay was frustrating. My first room had a serious AC leak that left water on the floor, patchy paint, and a bad smell from the bathroom drain, so I asked to move. There was confusion at check-in because staff said my booking confirmation showed twin beds, although I'd reserved a double. When I got to the room, it actually had the double bed I wanted. For the replacement, I agreed to twin beds after being told no double rooms were left, since the hotel was full. That room faced the main road, and traffic plus loud music from the bar across the street kept me awake. The sheets also had visible holes. I don't understand how housekeeping missed them, or why damaged linen was put out for guests. It felt like there was no room inspection or quality control.

The room was spacious, clean, and had the basic amenities, and breakfast was good for the price. The hair dryer wasn't powerful enough. Noise from the walking street came through until about 2 a.m., so I didn't rest well. Staff communication was sparse, and details weren't always explained clearly unless I asked. I'd booked a room with two breakfasts and had confirmation for two guests. At the desk, though, they said only one person was registered. We'd arrived together, and nobody had asked for more guest details at check-in, which made the mix-up inconvenient after a short night's sleep. The room and breakfast were acceptable, but better soundproofing and clearer front desk communication would improve the stay.

Ms. Bee at the front desk was especially warm, professional, and helpful. The service stood out compared with other hotels I've stayed at. My room was clean, modern, and sleek, and the location was convenient for everything I needed. I was very impressed and would stay here again.

The room change turned out to be a good call. Room #508 had the bed facing a connecting door, which gave me an uneasy feeling, but the staff were lovely and moved me to #612 without any fuss. I slept so deeply I nearly missed my appointment. The whole trip started with a chaotic drive: traffic around Lumphini Park was INSANE because of a fair and the SEA Games, and I got turned around circling the area before finally checking in exhausted. The hotel has a mix of traditional Thai details and modern style, with pastel greens and purples, carved wood, and cheerful dusty-pink walls. The bed was wonderfully soft, and the bathroom had separate wet and dry areas. Pulling back the curtains gave me a bright night view over the busy street. There's also a little garden courtyard with sofa beds you can sink into, and free parking. It's a lively spot. Phat Phong Road is just across the street, with a 24-hour Burger King and a nearby 7-Eleven. Light sleepers may not love it. Night markets are around, Bantadthong Road is a short trip away, and Central Dusit is close too. I picked the hotel for an early errand nearby, and the stay ended up being great. The staff were helpful and the place has charm. Check the event schedule before driving over! 👍#whereaimsavor
