Rain fell overnight, and watching it through the glass doors felt peaceful and close to nature, a lovely change from city life. We found this place while stopping for a night on our way to Chiang Mai, near the end of our Mae Hong Song loop drive. Kevin and his wife were generous hosts who made sure we were looked after. They even explained where to turn when using Google maps. The scenic drive to the property passes through a little village surrounded by padi fields. Our clean room overlooks mountains in the distance. The mattress was nice, and I loved the pillow. Kevin's three dogs looked a little intimidating at first, but they're gentle and playful. Breakfast was fantastic: Kevin's wife is an excellent cook, and made a delicious fusion potato and meat soup, with fresh mango and wonderful coffee. It was one of the best homestays of our Mae Hong Son loop. We'll stop again on our next trip to Chiang Mai. Highly recommended for a relaxing stop on the loop. Charanjeet Singh 🇸🇬

The hosts are so warm and welcoming that it almost feels like being at home. They have three very sweet, people-friendly dogs, I guarantee. They serve breakfast every day, and you MUST try the pizza. Everything is fresh and homemade. The place is modern, spacious, clean, and well equipped, and guests can use the kitchen. I cooked my own meals there to meet my dietary requirements. This is my second visit, and as a digital nomad I find it really relaxing to work here and enjoy the scenery. It's a great place to get away from the city. Trust me, 1-2 days isn't enough. Looking forward to coming back later this year 😬

Kevin and Pansa were such wonderful hosts. They gave us a warm welcome on our first trip to beautiful Thailand, and their love for the country, the food, their village, home, and surrounding land came through in everything. We were invited to enjoy the delicious meals they made each night and morning in their amazing garden. Their dogs were just as friendly. They also shared lots of recommendations, from hikes and waterfalls to the restaurant where we had one of our favorite meals of the trip. We couldn't have asked for a more memorable stay. Breakfast was fresh, homemade, traditional, and delicious. Kevin and his wife made us feel very welcome, and the 3 (+1) dogs were gentle and playful. It’s a lovely, quiet place to unwind. It’s quite remote, as you’d expect, and works well for anyone wanting to catch the sunrise at doi inthanon.

There’s no nearby mini market or restaurant, and breakfast is Thai. Still, if you want somewhere quiet to get away, this spot works well. It is quite isolated.
