Adelphi Forty-Nine

The team at Adelphi Forty-Nine handled my travel changes smoothly and without any hassle. They were flexible and attentive throughout, and everyone was warm and went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. I found the room comfortable and quiet after long travel days, and the atmosphere was relaxed and polished. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying. I loved staying here and would happily return. Highly recommend it for a visit to Bangkok.

The front desk staff member, I think her name was Kar or something close, was really friendly. She suggested good places to visit and even helped us book our flight. The room was clean and nice, and I’d suggest asking for one away from the elevators. There’s coffee too if you need a morning start. I’d definitely stay here again.

For three weeks, Adelphi felt like home. Our one-bedroom apartment was cosy and exceptionally comfortable, and they kept both the room and the rest of the building meticulously clean. The rooftop pool and gym were great facilities, and this was the best remote-working option I’ve tried in Bangkok. My mum joined us for a week, and the staff kindly arranged a room next to ours. She kept saying how much she liked the place. The staff’s kindness and warm hospitality were a real highlight. They greeted us with bright smiles every time we saw them. Big thanks to Kardy, Joe, Pat, Bai the barista, who makes the best thai tea, Duan, the cleaning staff whose names we didn’t get, and the friendliest security guys, who were like kind uncles and whom we saw every day. We’ll definitely stay at Adelphi again when we’re back in Bangkok. :)

The rooftop pool has great views, and we appreciated that towels were available there. A modern Japanese toilet with wash and dry functions was a highlight. The hotel is well placed for a Bangkok stopover, with both airports reachable by taxi in about 45 minutes depending on traffic, and some iconic rooftop ckubs nearby. We didn’t rate the breakfast and chose to eat outside.
