Amarin Hotel Rama 8

We stayed for a week. The staff were friendly, the rooms were cleaned every day, and there was no disturbance.

Once we worked out the switches for the lights, we had a quiet, odor-free and restful night. The room was clean, but at first it wasn’t fully stocked. We were missing soap, towels and other shower basics. We asked for towels, and they brought them promptly. We were well prepared and only staying one night. Getting to the hotel took some trial and error because we missed every right turn. Probably says more about us than the hotel! It’s connected well to the highway, which depending on your direction can take you 15 minutes away or lead you right to the hotel. Parking is inside the hotel, and check-in and check-out were quick and comfortable.

We like this part of the city, with its local feel, small shops and everyday neighborhood life. The nearest train station is around a 10-minute walk away. There’s no breakfast at the hotel, but we’re fine with that since a 7-Eleven next door has our morning coffee. We’ve stayed at Hotel Amarin Rama 8 for many years when visiting Bangkok. The rooms are consistently clean and well kept, and the staff are always friendly. The price is unbeatable. You can get more comfort and extras at a 4-star hotel, of course, but this place has exactly what we need and remains our first choice in Bangkok.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was very spacious. Facilities were reasonable, and it’s a great, inexpensive place to stay in Bangkok. We were traveling between cities and asked if the hotel could keep our luggage until we came back to Bangkok. They stored it safely while we went to other countries.
