The staff really came through when I had trouble with a night market seller who couldn't deliver my orders. They helped me process a refund, and I appreciated it a lot. My stay at Aowmana Hotel was great, with excellent customer service. The room and CR were clean, the bed was very comfortable, and almost everything was within walking distance. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok.

There are plenty of nearby halal food options, and the atmosphere was great. It's handy for morning and night markets, with Platinum Mall and Central World within walking distance. Bring your own iron, though, since the one in my room was broken. They also have a scale to check whether your luggage is overweight, hehe.

The entrance is tucked behind a row of street stalls, probably because the weekend market is right beside it, so this place really does feel like a hidden gem. The price is hard to beat, the bed was huge and very comfortable, the amenities were mostly complete, and the hot water was properly hot. I could hear other guests walking in the corridor. Also, when someone in another room flushed, my toilet made a noise for some reason. They should add doorbells. I booked two rooms next to each other, but whenever I knocked on the other room's door, my son would open ours and ask what I wanted. Imagine knocking and having both neighbors on either side open their doors. That'd be pretty funny. I liked the location and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Everything else was good, and the room was comfortable and clean, though it had no window. The lobby staff were very nice. But the cleaning staff spoke so loudly at 8am that they woke me up. That's why I won't come back.

The room was cramped and uncomfortable, and the stay left us unhappy with our whole week there. The lighting was awful, with only three tiny lights, and there was no view. The window faced the hallway, so we heard people talking and walking past. There was no bedside table or lamp, and the bed frame looked like pieces of scrap wood put together, with no headboard. The air conditioner was right in front of the bed. The kettle cord couldn't reach the socket under the table, so we had to boil water on the floor, which felt hazardous with kids. The bathroom was tiny, its floor got very slippery when wet, and the bidet stuck out by the door so I nearly tripped on it several times. When we arrived, the linens weren't folded properly, and it didn't feel like we'd arrived at a hotel. We were already committed to the full week because we'd paid and couldn't cancel, and I felt like crying. Getting to the hotel was also difficult. The market nearby is convenient, but traffic to and from the hotel is very bad at night. With roads closed because of the market, you have to walk, and finding the side entrance is hard. It was dark and very dirty. The lobby wasn't welcoming either. It was untidy and had no lively atmosphere, especially disappointing when arriving at night with the market still open. Service was poor. The receptionist seemed low on energy and was often not around when we needed someone. When we asked for the room to be made up, they only folded the linens and towels instead of replacing them. We also tried to borrow an iron, but they didn't have one. The facilities and space were very poor, and comfort was zero. We found it too uncomfortable as a family, and I wouldn't book here again. Choose carefully, and don't trust the positive comments. It feels like a scam.
