Apartment45 Hostel - Adults Only

The owners are what make this hostel unforgettable. The couple who run it are kind, caring, and lovable, and have become real friends of mine. Their warmth feels human, not transactional. I keep coming back to Bangkok and staying here, sometimes for a couple of weeks and once for a full month. A lot of guests I've met end up extending their stays too. There's just something about the place. I've usually stayed in the four-bed dorm, which is super comfortable, though they also have private rooms. Some guests work remotely here. There's a cosy spot to work, good WiFi, and a relaxed atmosphere. A TV with Netflix is handy for quiet evenings, and there's a cute little kitchen with everything you need. With all the amazing, affordable street food just outside, I mostly used it to boil eggs 😄 The location is outstanding. Bangkok is huge, but you can get to places like Thonglor, Khao San Road, or Chinatown in 15 to 20 minutes by scooter. Public transport is easy to reach, and being close to Lumpini Park is a big plus. I've gone running there in the morning and evening, and often seen groups doing yoga. It's a refreshing change from the busy city. If you want more than a bed, this place offers connection, comfort, and a temporary home.

I hadn't stayed in hostels before, but this was a very pleasant introduction. I've spent a few months here and would come back. Plenty of other guests seem to do the same. The staff are incredibly kind and do their best to make people feel welcome. It's clean, with decent bathrooms and a great common area. The location is central, not too far from the BTS, and near several tasty restaurants.

Friendly hostel, with friendly staff and other guests. We had a private room with bunk beds and slept great. It was a lovely place to spend 4 nights in Bangkok. The shared bathroom was perfectly fine and felt very clean. There were also about 3/4 7 elevens within walking distance.

This place was a major letdown, and I wouldn't return under any circumstances. From the start, I felt guests weren't a priority. There was no warmth or professionalism, and no real effort to make the stay pleasant. It came across like a business trying to get every cent from people instead of welcoming travelers. There are plenty of better places in Bangkok, so don't waste your time or money here.
