The staff were fantastic and gave me a full refund for the rest of my stay without hesitation. They did the best they could, and it's a shame they have to deal with the situation. Still, I booked for 10 days and left after one night. It was listed as four-star, but the room looked nothing like the online photos. The furniture was so flimsy and cheap I was afraid to sit on it, and the bed felt like concrete. I woke up sore, as if I'd slept on a garage floor. This was the upgraded room I got after complaining about the first one. For what I paid, it was ridiculous. Public transportation is a bit far, so there's a long walk before you can get around quickly. I won't return.

The room itself was fine, but the front desk service was some of the worst we've experienced at a Bangkok hotel. Most of the staff looked miserable, barely looked up to greet us, and weren't pleasant to deal with. The shower was cold, too, which made for an unpleasant experience. The room cleaner and one doorman were the only decent staff members. We won't be back.

We stayed three nights because we had a small baby and moving elsewhere felt like too much hassle. In the first suite the main door wouldn't lock. After 45 minutes struggling with a drill machine, we were told to switch suites, costing us another hour packing and unpacking. The replacement door was fine, but its phone didn't work, the bathroom smelled, and the showers were clogged. Reception didn't get any of it fixed during our stay. The linens weren't changed once. The complimentary breakfast buffet had no vegetarian food beyond cereal, bread, and butter. Traffic in the area was nerve-racking, sometimes taking 20-30 minutes to go just a few hundred meters. We'll avoid it next time.

We paid a lot for eight nights, but this is an old hotel and both the rooms and shower room were very disappointing. The drains were broken, breakfast wasn't good, and daily room cleaning was done poorly. When we returned, the blankets and pillow covers didn't look clean. The staff weren't friendly either. Don't book blindly. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
