I meant to stay for two weeks, but ended up spending a month and a half here. It’s affordable and a really nice place to stay. I’m coming back in August. Sathon is clean and pleasant, with markets at both corners for good street food. I never got sick from it. Lumphini Park is within walking distance, and there’s a 7/11 and a Muay Thai gym around the corner. Bangkok’s good areas are easy to reach too, generally 15-20 minutes by taxi or scooter. The workers were especially great, always happy to answer questions. Sometimes we needed Google Translate, but that was no trouble at all. A really good base for exploring the city, and I’d definitely recommend staying here!

I could barely sleep because of the noise downstairs, and it got even worse at night. The room itself was okay, but the room attendant seemed to have brought a group of friends over to hang out, and they were incredibly loud. I saw him drinking something, though it definitely wasn’t anything good. I can’t put up with this. The owner needs to do something about it.

The room was clean, but the bathroom was really dirty. At night, noise from downstairs was so loud I couldn’t sleep or relax. I’d seen a review mentioning the noise, but didn’t believe it until I was there.

The caretaker was always willing to help and very helpful. The place itself was quiet and peaceful, and I liked staying here. I’d come back if I get the chance.
