The family-run guesthouse has a welcoming feel, and you can walk to plenty of local restaurants and 7eleven. There’s drinking water, and the WiFi allows only a limited number of devices. I appreciated the 24-hour canteen area with fruit, dry snacks, and pot noodles, especially arriving late. There’s one coin laundry machine, available during working hours. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, with the basic conveniences. A shelf or cupboard for large backpacks or luggage would be a nice extra.

The location worked really well, with the river fairy about a 15-minute walk away, street food nearby across the canal, and a 7/11 just two minutes away. It’s tucked down a side street, so fairly quiet, though Bangkok’s tuc-tucs still make themselves heard 🙄. Staff are there 24 hours, and the breakfast is great. The room and adjoining terrace stay open around the clock, so you can get bottled water or snacks whenever you need them. Rooms, sheets, and showers were clean. For this price range, it’s the best place I’ve stayed in SE Asia. I’ll stay here again when I come back.

I stayed in the female dorm and had it almost to myself for nearly the whole visit. The bathrooms were clean and well equipped. The owners are friendly, breakfast is great, and it’s a really quiet place. I loved the backyard that opens onto the river. It’s affordable, too.

A comfortable place to stay while exploring Bangkok’s old town. The room had a fridge, effective air conditioning, and a good-sized bed. Staff were polite and helpful, and they adjusted breakfast for our early departure and vegan diet.
