There’s a lot of character here, and the hosts seem nice to me. The owner got up for me at midnight. The mattress is hard, but I don’t mind. The hosts are from an older generation, so take your time and show respect.

I loved the peace of this place. The classic wooden bungalows are right in the middle of Bangkok, yet they have the feel of a traditional Thai home. Yaowarat and some nice cafes are less than a kilometer’s walk away.
The beds were really hard, even by Thai standards.
The bed is on the firm side, but the place itself feels like stepping into another era. It’s a very old-fashioned space, lived in across generations.
Travelers, give thanks to Toy for letting us stay at his homestay. What a gift. Thank you, universe.
